Best Nonstop Flights to Hawaii

Here are some of the best cities that have nonstop flights to Hawaii. While some airlines offer direct flights to and from Hawaii, some don’t fly directly to Hawaii daily. Be sure to check the airline’s schedule for the dates you want to visit!

Since there are so many places that have direct flights to Hawaii, I have listed some popular destinations, both from the mainland and internationally.

Sydney to Honolulu Direct Flights

Airlines: Jetstar, Hawaiian, Qantas

During the summer months, when Sydney is cooler, make a quick getaway to Oahu with direct flights from Sydney to Honolulu. In just under 10 hours you will be where it is warm and sunny for a relaxing beach trip.

Direct Flights from Canada to Hawaii

Airlines: Westjet, Air Canada

You will want to escape the cold, snowy weather, so a trip to Hawaii from Canada is a must! While there aren’t any direct flights to Hawaii from Toronto, you will find direct flights to Hawaii from Vancouver, Canada!

From here, you can head to Oahu for some fun tourist activities or fly out to Maui for tons of water adventures in the ocean in only 6 hours!

Direct Flights from Austin to Hawaii

Airlines: Hawaiian

This is the only direct flight to Honolulu from Austin. After enjoying all the live music Austin, Texas offers, you can hop on Hawaiian Airlines and, in less than 9 hours, be in Oahu to enjoy the laidback lifestyle.

Boston to Hawaii

Airlines: Hawaiian

Much like Austin, the direct flights from Boston to Hawaii are only to one of the Hawaiian islands: Oahu.

While it is close to 12 hours, you will still get to Hawaii much sooner than spending hours in multiple airports for all the layovers.

Direct Flight to Hawaii from DC

Airlines: United

Washington, DC is filled with historical buildings, museums, and memorials, much like Oahu. There is only one direct flight to Hawaii from DC, and it takes about 10 ½ hours.

After arriving, visit Pearl Harbor or the Bishop Museum for some Hawaiian history.

Direct Flights to Hawaii from Chicago

Airlines: United

In Chicago, you can be surrounded by gardens and beautiful nature in a big city with skyscrapers. And Oahu is not much different!

In just 9 hours, you can be on the Big Island, Maui, or Oahu flying with United from the Chicago airport.

Direct Flights to Hawaii from NYC

Airlines: United, Hawaiian, Delta

You can enjoy a few nonstop flights from the Big Apple to either Maui or Oahu! While it is a big city filled with fun adventures for adults, there are still plenty of kid-friendly activities in New York as well.

Since New York is such a popular place to visit and live, there are two airports that have direct flights to Hawaii from NYC. I love having the option to do a long flight rather than shorter flights with multiple layovers, and you can do that from New York.

While it will take you about 12 hours, you will still be arriving much quicker than making several stops and can enjoy your vacation to the fullest!

Phoenix to Hawaii Direct Flights

Airlines: American, Hawaiian, Southwest

While it is hot in Phoenix, it is nothing compared to Hawaii’s heat due to the difference in humidity. Phoenix can get in the 100 degrees and is super dry, while Hawaii stays around the 80s and is very humid. You will have to travel to both areas to see what you prefer: dry or humid!

Because Phoenix is a popular destination, you can travel to all four of the Hawaiian islands from here with nonstop flights, taking about seven hours.

Direct Flights from Denver to Hawaii

Airlines: United

Explore the Rocky Mountains and bask in the beauty you’ll find in Colorado. This is the perfect destination for those who love outdoor adventures!
